What is hydrotherapy?
Hydrotherapy uses the unique properties of heated water to provide a therapeutic avenue for pain relief as wel
l as regaining strength, mobility and function throughout the body. Ideal for all skill levels from non-swimmers to those more experienced in the water, hydrotherapy programs can be designed to benefit a range of conditions.
Safety
Every hydrotherapy session with Sapphire Coast Physiotherapy will be supervised by a trained physiotherapist. Safety screenings will be performed prior to anyone commencing hydrotherapy to ensure they are safe to do so. Participants in hydrotherapy will be required to shower before and after hydrotherapy to help prevent any spread of possible infections. If prior to or during hydrotherapy you are feeling; dizzy/lightheaded, nauseous, or you have, chest pain, open wounds, or stomach upset, please let the physiotherapist in charge know as soon as possible.

Bega Hydrotherapy - Bega Village Motor Inn
In Bega, take the driveway next to the BP service station in Gipps St into the Bega Village Motor Inn & check in at reception. A pool usage fee of $5 will be charged. Standard physiotherapy consultation charges also apply (reimbursed by insurance if you’re covered by WorkCover, third party or Veterans Affairs).
Tura Beach Hydrotherapy - Sea Change
Leaving Merimbula along Sapphire Coast Drive turn right into Tura Beach Drive, Sea Change is the last building on the left before the road veers right to Tura Beach. Parking in carpark, on road or in laneway.
A pool usage fee of $11 will be charged. Standard physiotherapy consultation charges also apply (reimbursed by insurance if you’re covered by WorkCover, third party or Veterans Affairs). Shower is available on site for use before and after each session.
